A weekend rooted in survival, sisterhood, laughter & JOY.

October 24–25, The AAC Social House is making room for something cancer can never take from us — JOY.

Created from a deeply personal journey through breast cancer, loss, friendship and healing, Tickled Pink is more than an event. It's a celebration of being here, loving on each other, and finding beautiful moments even in the middle of the hard ones.

WHY TICKLED PINK EXISTS?

The woman you see in this video — bald, going through treatment and fighting to recognize herself in the mirror — that's me.

Hi there! I'm Joi, founder of The AAC Social House and a Triple Negative Breast Cancer survivor.

Cancer changed my body. It took my hair. It challenged my strength. But it also changed the way I understand joy, community and what it means to show up for people while they're going through the unimaginable.

That's why partnering with Crowns of Love for Tickled Pink is so personal to me. We're collecting gently used wigs to give another woman something I know firsthand can mean so much during treatment — the opportunity to look in the mirror and feel a little more like herself.

But Tickled Pink was also born from loss.

My best friend, Erica Easter, is no longer here to experience the life and joy we thought we'd have more time to share.

Her friendship, her memory and the people she loved remain part of my story. That's why a portion of the proceeds from Tickled Pink Weekend will benefit the legacy fund for Erica's son, Jayelin Robinson.

This weekend is my way of turning some of the hardest chapters of my life into something beautiful.

For the woman in treatment.

For the survivor learning her new normal.

For the friend standing beside her.

For Erica.

For Jayelin.

For all of us who have learned that tomorrow isn't promised — so when joy shows up, we make room for it.
